Join our eMabler team as a VP of Engineering, where you'll understand the big picture and details of products with great user experience, collaborate with sales and customer success teams to plan the roadmap, prioritize features, and work closely with development to deliver customer-centric product releases.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who excels in SaaS development. As the VP of Engineering, your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and implementation of our software solutions for electric vehicle charging services. You will have a significant impact on our technology stack and play a key role in driving innovation aligned with our business goals in the eMobility sector.
As the VP of Engineering, you will have the exciting opportunity to
- Lead and manage a team of talented software developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Define and implement development processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure efficient and high-quality software delivery.
- Drive the technical vision and strategy, making informed decisions about the selection of technologies, tools, and frameworks in the context of EV charging and energy management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize development tasks related to EV charging solutions.
- Oversee the development of robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Azure, C#, and .NET technologies, tailored for the EV charging industry.
- Lead the development of intuitive and responsive frontend applications using React and Material UI, specifically designed for EV charging user interfaces.
- Ensure code quality, perform code reviews, and implement appropriate testing methodologies, considering the unique requirements of EV charging systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the EV charging sector to drive continuous improvement within the development team.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to EV charging infrastructure.
We are seeking a VP of Engineering who possesses the following
- Strong leadership role, ownership and expertise in developing software solutions using Azure, C#, and .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React and Material UI.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable and secure systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed technical decisions related to EV charging software solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the EV charging sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, as it's the primary working language.
